oWo Cyberslam #296

The cameras head backstage to the office of Amy Page right from the start of Cyberslam, where an angry looking Amy Page is standing in front of her desk.
Amy Page: “Last week I made myself very clear to CJ Dreamer that he was to take the week off and sit at home and watch the main event between Morales and Leon Ventura with the winner facing him at the Last Stand IPPV.”
The crowd out at ringside who are watching in the giant screen cheer at the mention of the oWo Champions name.
Amy Page: “However Dreamer obviously has a problem listening as he got involved in the main event for the second week running leaving us without a clear winner and without a clear #1 contender.”
Page looks more angry as she continues to speak.
Amy Page: “Well if CJ Dreamer doesn’t want to face either man then he doesn’t have to worry, because I have decided that due to his actions over the past two weeks he will have to face both men in a triple threat match with the title on the line!”
The cameras fade out back to ringside, with CJ Dreamer now facing the prospect of potentially losing the title without being involved in the decision of the match!
Harry Barnes vs. Larry Walker
The famous loud claps of “We Will Rock You” by Queen echos around the arena as the team of Old School walk out onto the top of the entrance ramp and stand looking out at the crowd who are booing them loudly. Larry Walker and Scotty Duncan nod to each other before marching down the entrance ramp, ignoring all of the fans at ringside and climbing straight into the ring. Duncan and Walker psych each other up in the corner of the ring as they prepare for the battle ahead.
“Toxicity” by System of a Down hits the sound system, and as the drum beat hits the tag team of Sid Ross and Harry Barnes emerge from behind the curtain to huge cheers from the crowd. The pair collectively known as ‘The Union’ make their way down the entrance ramp with energy before making their way around the ring in opposite directions, slapping hands with all of the fans in the front row. Barnes and Ross finally climb into the ring and jointly pose in the middle to soak in the cheers from the fans.
With both men in the ring and there tag team partners at ringside cheering them on, the fans cheer as the referee calls for the bell and the first match of the night gets started. Barnes circles around his much larger opponent and tries to kick him off with some stiff kicks to the leg, as Walker swings wildly looking catch a right hand on the youngster. Walker does catch hold of Barnes and throws him into the corner of the ring before landing some stiff punches in the corner of the ring.
Walker pulls Barnes out of the corner of the ring and sends him down to the mat with a scoop slam before locking on a head lock and wearing down his opponent. Sid Ross tries to get the crowd behind his tag team partner from the outside of the ring, as Barnes battles back from the head lock and manages to escape with some back elbows to the larger opponent. Barnes bounces into the ring ropes before returning with a diving dropkick to the knee of Walker. Walker drops down to one knee, and Barnes lands a shining wizard on his opponent before making the cover and getting a two count.
Walker powers out of the pin fall attempt, before bouncing into the ropes himself and returning with a big boot to the face. Barnes gets to a standing position quickly, but Walker sends him down with some big right hands before dropping the leg on his opponents chest in the middle of the ring and looking for the cover, only to get a two count. Walker looks unhappy at the referee as he pulls Barnes up to a sitting position and locks on a chin lock. Walker tries to wear down his opponent so he can look for another cover, however Barnes is able to break the grip of his opponent, before rolling up to a standing position.
Barnes fires back with some big kicks and palm strikes to take down Walker to his knees, before landing a DDT in the middle of the ring! Barnes follows up with a neck lock suplex, before taunting to the fans! Scotty Duncan jumps up onto the ring apron to try and distract Barnes, but Barnes knocks him down with a dropkick before turning back to Walker and landing a hangman’s facebuster! With Walker down, the fans rise to their feet as Barnes signals for his finishing move!
Barnes taunts Walker to get to his feet, and he slowly rises up before Barnes lands his arm trapped hatch suplex onto the big man to take him down, before making the cover and scoring the three count!
The fans continue to cheer as Sid Ross joins his tag team partner in the ring and raises his arm in the air in victory! Barnes and Ross celebrate the victory, but as they do the two masked man that attacked them two weeks ago and cost them the shot at the oWo Tag Team Championships jump out of the crowd! The fans boo as the slide into the ring behind the back of the Union, before knocking down Ross and Barnes and stomping away on them! The mysterious masked men continue the beat down, until all of a sudden the oWo Tag Team Champions High Voltage run down the ring with their title belts in their hands!
The fans cheer as Nate Adams and Frankie York chase the masked men out of the ring and back into the crowd! The fans cheer loudly as York and Adams help Barnes and Ross to their feet, clearly keeping up their agreement to have each other’s backs against the masked attackers!

‘Violent’ Violet Hawkins vs. ‘Loco’ Lopez
As Cyberslam returns from a commercial break both Violet Hawkins and Loco Lopez are in the ring ready for the rematch from last week to get started! The referee calls for the bell to be rung and Lopez quickly charges as Hawkins, with the mexican clearly trying to get some revenge for last weeks match. Lopez lands some big right hands on Hawkins, however Hawkins absorbs the right hands before taking down Lopez with a hip toss.
Hawkins locks in the arm bar submission hold on Lopez and tries to tap her out early, however Lopez manages to use her long frame to make it to the bottom rope and force a rope break. Lopez gets to her feet and looks for a big boot on Hawkins, however Hawkins ducks out of the way and bounces into the ring ropes before landing a cross body on Lopez to send her back down.
Hawkins lands some stiff mounted punches on Lopez, before the masked mexican fights her way up to a standing position. Lopez lands some right hands on Hawkins, but Hawkins fights back with a vicious head butt on her opponent before grabbing Lopez in a waist lock and landing a German suplex with a bridge to get a two count!
Hawkins looks angry and Lopez stumbles up to her feet. Hawkins bounces off of the ring ropes before landing a jumping knee strike to Lopez to send her back down to the mat before locking in a knee bar submission hold. Lopez tries to fight her way to the ring ropes, but Hawkins pulls Lopez back to the middle of the ring. Lopez tries to fight against the pain, but eventually has to tap out! The fans boo loudly as Hawkins rises up to her feet and raises her arms in the air in victory leaving the referee to check on the knee of Lopez who is laying on the mat.

Lucy Von Drake vs. Bee Picone
With Bee Picone already in the ring and ready, “Going Bad” by Meek Mill hits the sound system and the arena is basked in a golden glow as Lucy Von Drake slowly emerges onto the top of the entrance ramp. Lucy Von Drake kisses her fist before raising it in the air at the top of the entrance ramp, before slowly walking down towards the ring whilst surveying the crowd. LVD climbs into the ring and slowly circles around as if she owns the ring, before raising both arms in the air in the middle of the ring in time with a pyro shooting up from behind her.
With Lucy Von Drake and Bee Picone both in the ring the action gets started with a tie up in the middle of the ring. Both ladies try and push the other backwards in a test of strength, which the larger Bee Picone wins as she pushes Von Drake to the corner of the ring before the referee calls for a rope break. Picone leaves Von Drake with a clean break, however Von Drake slaps the taste out of her opponents mouth before ducking under a right hand from Picone and landing some stuff forearm shots to the face.
Picone staggers backwards and Von Drake continues the offense with a leg sweep takedown before stomping on the inside of her opponents knee. Picone staggers back to her feet but Von Drake bounces into the ring ropes before returning with a big dropkick to send Picone down to the mat and then make the cover! The referee dives down to make the count but Picone gets a shoulder up after the count of two!
Von Drake looks frustrated as she gets to her feet, obviously wanting to get the win early ahead of her Women’s Championship opportunity at the Last Stand iPPV! Von Drake sends Picone into the ring ropes, but Picone bounces back with a clothesline to take down her opponent! Von Drake staggers back up, but Picone lands a suplex before bouncing into the ring ropes and landing a big splash in the middle of the ring! Picone makes a cover however Von Drake gets a shoulder up after two!
Picone gets back to her feet and taunts her opponent, before looking for a superkick! However Von Drake catches the foot of her opponent before twisting her around and stamping her knee into the mat! Von Drake continues to attack the leg of her opponent before locking on an ankle lock in the middle of the ring! Picone tries to make it to the ropes as she screams out in pain, but it is no use as she has to give into the pain and tap out!
The fans boo loudly as Lucy Von Drake gets to her feet and demands the referee raises her arm in victory! Von Drake continues to celebrate the win, but will she be celebrating after the IPPV with the championship belt?

Angelo Anderson vs. Victor Holland
The lights in the arena dim and the fans boo as ‘Many Men’ by 50 Cent booms out of the sound system. The menacing Angelo Anderson slowly walks out onto the top of the entrance ramp and raises his arms in the air. Anderson shakes his head at the booing crowd before climbing into the ring and trash talking the fans at ringside before the match gets started.
The fans in the arena cheer as “Knock Your Self Out” by Jadakiss hits the sound system and the stage is basked in a green glow. After a few seconds ‘The Natural’ Victor Holland steps out from behind the curtain and poses at the top of the entrance ramp, drawing another big cheer from the crowd. Holland slowly moves down the entrance ramp, scanning the fans in the front few rows and exchanging high fives. Holland finally rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and poses on the nearest turnbuckle as his music begins to fade out.
The oWo Internet Champion Angelo Anderson stands cockily in the middle of the ring as the referee calls for the bell to be rung. Anderson taunts Victor Holland, who looks around at the crowd before jumping forward and tearing into the champion with right hands to the delight of the fans! Holland lands some big right hands before Anderson powers Holland into the corner of the ring and hits some mounted punches in the corner.
Anderson pulls Holland out of the corner of the ring and hits a German suplex in the middle of the ring. Holland quickly pops back up to his feet, however Anderson is there again with a big clothesline to take him down to the mat! The fans boo as Anderson stomps away on Victor Holland before dropping down to make a cocky cover. The referee drops down to make the count, however Holland kicks out before the three can be counted.
Angelo Anderson trash talks Holland as he pulls him to a standing position before sending him hard into the corner of the ring. Anderson follows up with a clothesline in the corner of the ring before following up with a bulldog takedown into another cover! However once again Holland gets a kick out after two which draws a cheer from the crowd! Anderson angrily shouts at the referee, however this distraction allows Holland the chance to pull himself to his feet behind his opponents back!
Anderson turns around and Holland lands some right hands which stun the Internet Champion and force him back against the ropes. Anderson tries to fight back, but with the crowd behind him Holland lands a neck breaker on Anderson before jumping into the ring ropes and landing an elbow drop on his opponent! Holland looks for a quick cover, but Anderson manages to get a shoulder up before the three count! Holland grabs hold of Anderson and pulls him back up to his feet and slams him face first into the turnbuckle! Anderson staggers backwards and Holland lands a German suplex into a bridge but once again Anderson kicks out after the count of two!
Victor Holland rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd, who rise to their feet in support of the fan favourite! However before Holland can look to hit his finishing move there is a boo as Rick Reid slowly walks down the entrance ramp! The #1 contender for the oWo Internet Championship looks angry as he slowly walks down the entrance ramp, but Angelo Anderson takes advantage of the referee and his opponent being distracted, as he lands a low blow on Victor Holland! Angelo Anderson follows up with a ‘Broken Bomb’ on Holland before making the cover and scoring the three count!
The fans boo loudly, but Angelo Anderson doesn’t even get a chance to celebrate as Rick Reid quickly climbs into the ring and knocks him down from behind! Reid stomps down the man he will face for the Internet Championship at the Last Stand iPPV! Reid picks Anderson up before tossing him down to the mat with the jack Knife powerbomb!
Reid demands that the referee hands him the Internet Championship belt, and he stands in the ring over the bodies of Holland and Anderson with the belt held high in the air, before tossing the belt down onto the body of the champion as Cyberslam heads off of the air!
