The Rebellion have their first oWo match as they take on Old School in tag team action whilst CJ Dreamer returns to the main event

The Rebellion vs. Old School

The lights in the arena cut to black as ‘Who’s Laughing Now’ by #NerdOut hits the sound system. The fans boo loudly as after a few seconds a spotlight appears on the top of the entrance ramp which Sara Young steps into. Sara Young stares menacingly out at the crowd before Xander Young and Christian Cashman step into the light either side of her. The three members of Rebellion stand at the top of the entrance ramp for a few seconds, before marching through the darkness down the entrance ramp towards the ring, with the spotlight flashing on and off of them. The three members of Rebellion step up into the ring as the lights in the arena slowly begin to fade up.

The famous loud claps of “We Will Rock You” by Queen echos around the arena as the team of Old School walk out onto the top of the entrance ramp and stand looking out at the crowd who are booing them loudly. Larry Walker and Scotty Duncan nod to each other before marching down the entrance ramp, ignoring all of the fans at ringside and climbing straight into the ring. Duncan and Walker psych each other up in the corner of the ring as they prepare for the battle ahead.

With both teams in the ring, and Sara Young at ringside, the referee calls for the bell to be rung and Christian Cashman and Larry Walker get things started off in the ring for their teams. Walker runs at Cashman and lays into the newcomer with some big right hands which back him into the ring ropes. Sara Young cheers her brother on as Cashman battles back with some right hands of his own, before bouncing into the ring ropes and landing a spinning heel kick to knock Larry Walker backwards. Walker quickly gets back up to his feet, but Cashman lays into him with some big kicks and punches, before taking him down to the mat with a side Russian leg sweep.

Walker looks surprised at the offence from the newcomer, and makes the tag out to his partner Scotty Duncan. Duncan jumps into the ring and ducks under a calf kick from Cashman, before bouncing into the ropes and taking him down with a spear! Duncan lands some mounted punches on his opponent, before Cashman is able to roll to a standing position. Duncan runs at Cashman looking for a clothesline, but Cashman ducks under the arm of his opponent before bouncing into the ropes himself and returning with a dropkick in the middle of the ring. With Duncan hitting the mat hard, Cashman makes the cover!

Two,

No!

Duncan gets a shoulder up before the three can be counted and denies the Rebellion a victory in their first match in the oWo!

Cashman quickly gets to his feet and rolls to his corner before making the tag out to his brother in law Xander Young! Young jumps into the ring over the top rope and quickly makes his way towards Duncan. Duncan tries to get up to a standing position, but as he does Yung rains down some big kicks to his opponent. Young grabs Duncan by the arm and sends him into the ropes, before landing a stiff kick to the midsection as he bounces back. Duncan doubles over in pain and Young lands a big knee to the side of his head!

The fans boo as Young drops down and makes the cover to pick up the quick three count!

The fans give a mixed reaction as the Rebellion clear the ring of Old School before celebrating their first victory in the oWo.

Single Match
Harrington Walters vs. Victor Holland

“The Kids Aren’t Alright” by The Offspring hits the sound system and the fans boo loudly as Harrington Walters cockily steps onto the top of the entrance ramp with his arms in the air! Walters poses at the top of the entrance ramp, and the fans boo loudly the self proclaimed ‘Urban Gladiator’. Walters waves away the boos before running down the entrance ramp and sliding head first into the ring. Walters quickly jumps to the second rope of the nearest turnbuckle and nods his head in time with the music attempting to look cool. The fans continue to boo Walters as the music slowly fades out and he warms up for the match with some shadow boxing in the corner.

The fans in the arena cheer as “Knock Your Self Out” by Jadakiss hits the sound system and the stage is basked in a green glow. After a few seconds ‘The Natural’ Victor Holland steps out from behind the curtain and poses at the top of the entrance ramp, drawing another big cheer from the crowd. Holland slowly moves down the entrance ramp, scanning the fans in the front few rows and exchanging high fives. Holland finally rolls into the ring under the bottom rope and poses on the nearest turnbuckle as his music begins to fade out.

The bell calls for the match to get started and both men quickly tie up in the middle of the ring. Walters tries to push Holland back, but Holland uses his strength advantage to back his opponent into the corner of the ring. The referee calls for a break, but as Holland gives a clean break, the fans cheer as Walters hits him with a cheap shot! Holland looks furious as he lays into Walters with right hands, however Walters cuts him off with a knee to the midsection. Walters hits some right hand on Holland before taking him down to the mat with a neckbreaker.

Walters lands some big right hands on Holland on the mat before he is able to force his way to a standing position. Holland runs at Walters, but Walters rakes the eyes of his opponent before taking him down to the mat with a spinebuster! Walters makes the cover but only gets a two count. Holland struggles back up to his feet, but Walters is straight back on him with some right hands to the back of the head, before taking him down to the mat with a back suplex.

Walters rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd who boo the cocky youngster loudly. Walters slowly turns and pulls Victor Holland to his feet before throwing him into the ring ropes. However Holland bounces back off of the ropes and lands a big clothesline to knock Walters down! Walters quickly gets back up to his feet, but Holland takes Walters down with a fireman’s carry takedown before leaping down to make a cover, however only gets a two count.

The fans continue to cheer Victor Holland on as he lays into Walters with some big stomps before pulling him up to his feet. Walters tries to fight back, but Holland ducks under the arm of his opponent before grabbing him around the waist and sending him down to the mat with a German suplex! With Walters down on the mat, Holland rises up to his feet and taunts Walters, before landing a ‘Natural Driver’ on his opponent! The fans cheer as Holland leaps down and makes the cover!

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and Victor Holland picks up the victory! Holland rises up to his feet and has his arm raised in the air by the referee as the fans cheer loudly.

Single Match
Loco Lopez vs. Violet Hawkins

As Cyberslam returns from a commercial break with Lopez already in the ring, Boos ring out around the arena as ‘Violent’ Violet Hawkins steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp with ‘Heathens’ by Twenty One Pilots blasting over the sound system. Hawkins jogs on the spot for a few seconds at the top of the ramp before slowly walking down to the ring with a steely look on her face. Hawkins climbs quickly into the ring and warms up in the corner of the ring.

The bell rings and Lopez runs at Hawkins and lays into her with right hands which back her into the corner of the ring. Hawkins covers up as Lopez rains down rights and lefts on her, before Hawkins cuts her off with a big head butt! The fans boo as Hawkins takes down Lopez with an arm drag takedown before landing some big mounted punches on the masked Mexican.

Lopez rises up to her feet, but Hawkins cuts her off with a kick to the knees before dropping her down onto the mat with a DDT! With Lopez down on the mat, Hawkins taunts Lopez to get to her feet, before grabbing her by the arm and landing a ‘Rolling Arm Bar Submission hold’! The fans boo loudly as Lopez tries to make it to the bottom rope, before quickly having to tap out to the pain!

The fans continue to boo as Hawkins keeps the hold locked on for a few more seconds, before finally releasing it.

Hawkins rises up to her feet, but as she has her arm raised in the air in victory she is joined in the ring by ‘Hot’ Holly Knight. Knight and Hawkins nod to each other, before beating down Lopez! The fans continue to boo loudly as Knight and Hawkins beat down Lopez with big stomps before the referee flood the ring to break things up!

With Hawkins and Knight seemingly on the same page over the past few weeks, is anyone woman on the oWo roster safe?

Main Event Match
CJ Dreamer vs. Leon Ventura

“Already Platinum” by Slim Thug hits the sound system and the fans boo as Leon Ventura steps out from behind the curtain and onto the entrance ramp. ‘The Tank’ flexes his muscles for a few seconds on the entrance ramp, before walking down towards the ring and screaming abuse at the fans in the front row. Ventura slowly climbs into the ring and strikes a double bicep pose in the middle of the ring whilst soaking in the boos from the crowd.

‘Break Stuff’ by the Limp Bizkit hits the sound system and the fans in the arena rise to their feet and boo their former hero as CJ Dreamer quickly steps out onto the top of the entrance ramp looking pumped up. CJ Dreamer casts his eyes around the arena before raising a fist in the air and making his way down the entrance ramp. CJ Dreamer circles the ring looking at the squared circle before quickly rolling in under the bottom rope and jumping up to his feet to signal to the crowd one last time before the match gets started!

Dreamer and Ventura trash talk in the middle of the ring as the bell rings for the match to get started! Dreamer and Ventura suddenly break out into big punches towards each other, with Ventura getting the better over the oWo Champion. Ventura backs Dreamer up against the ring ropes, before Dreamer is able to fight back with some right hands of his own. Dreamer grabs Ventura and tries to throw him into the corner of the ring, however Ventura counters and sends the oWo Champion hard into the corner of the ring.

Ventura follows up with a clothesline in the corner of the ring, before pulling Dreamer away from the ropes and taking him down to the mat with a big suplex. The fans boo the move from Ventura, who follows up with some big stomps and kicks as Dreamer gets up to his feet. Ventura lands a big right hand to Dreamer which rocks the Champion, before Ventura takes him down to the mat with a scoop slam. With Dreamer down on the mat Ventura bounces into the ring ropes before landing a running knee drop! With Dreamer down, Ventura makes the quick cover!

No!

Just when it looked like Ventura might pick up a big victory over the Champion, Dreamer manages to get a shoulder up off of the mat just in time! Ventura pulls Dreamer up to his feet and throws him again into the corner of the ring, before pounding him with big rights and lefts to the midsection. Dreamer looks to be struggling as Ventura pulls him away from the ropes again and looks to power Dreamer up for another suplex. However as Ventura tries to lift Dreamer up, the oWo Champion blocks the move!

Ventura tries the move again, but once again Dreamer blocks before landing a snap suplex on his opponent! With Ventura down on the mat, Dreamer lands a knee drop of his own onto his opponent before retreating to the corner of the ring! Ventura struggles up to his feet, but Dreamer runs and lands a leaping clothesline to knock Ventura down! With Ventura on the mat, Dreamer quickly hooks the leg to make the cover, however only manages to get a two count!

Dreamer can’t believe that it wasn’t a three count as he stares at the referee and shakes his head. Dreamer waits for Ventura to get to his feet before looking for a ‘Sweet Dreams’, however Ventura sees the move coming and counters with a big powerslam! Dreamer lays on the mat in pain as Ventura pulls himself up and winds his arm back ready for a big clothesline! The fans rise to their feet as Ventura bounces into the ring ropes, before wiping CJ Dreamer out with a massive clothesline in the middle of the ring! Dreamer might be down and out as Ventura makes the cover!

Two,

Thr… No!

It looked all over but Dreamer gets a shoulder up at the very last second! Ventura rises up to his feet and grabs the referee in anger at not getting the three count there and then! The referee threatens to DQ Ventura from the match as the fans boo loudly for the actions of ‘The Tank’. Ventura finally releases the referee from his grip and turns back to face CJ Dreamer, however recieves a big superkick from the oWo Champion for his troubles! Ventura stumbles backwards allowing Dreamer the chance to bounce into the ring ropes and land a big spear on his opponent!

Dreamer rises up to his feet and taunts to the crowd, before stalking Leon Ventura as he gets to his feet. As Ventura stands up, Dreamer pounces and lands the ‘Sweet Dreams’ on Ventura! The fans are on their feet as Dreamer rolls over to make the cover and the referee makes the count!

One,

Two,

Three!

It’s all over and CJ Dreamer the oWo Champion picks up an impressive win over one of his main contenders for his title belt in the form of ‘The Tank’ Leon Ventura! CJ Dreamer slowly rises up to his feet before having his arm raised in the air in victory by the referee, who presents Dreamer with his oWo Championship belt which he proudly raises in the air to show the sold out crowd.

Dreamer continues to celebrate with the title belt as Cyberslam heads off of the air, but with Johnny All Star emerging as a clear contender for his title, will Dreamer be able to keep hold of the title?
